Musical Instrument Repair

Norman Brown provides a wide range of services for the Bermuda School of Music, including piano tuning, voice regulating, re-stringing and rebuilding new soundboards and pin blocks. Hand-made full-size violins are available for sale as well as chin rests, strings, pegs, tail pieces and more. He is also able to repair and replace sound posts, bridges, strings, cracks, fingerboards and necks of all sizes.

A Registered Piano Technician (Boston Chapter), Norman is a graduate of the North Bennett Street School in Boston. He also completed a 4.5 year apprenticeship at the Chimneys Violin Shop in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania under Ed Campbell.
